let alone be as stable as it is. can't thank this site enough for letting

i wonder if kids in 20 years will use discs.
i mean, if they seem obsolete NOW, logically they would be even moreso years from now.
i can't wait to see the "2000s dvd aesthetic" that the next generations create.
cds have abysmal audio quality compared to most other options, so i doubt that
they will have the same following that vinyl has now.
now that i think about it. will there be physical video games in the future?
our efforts to create less waste in the modern day have basically ensured that
plastic cartridges and discs will not exist years from now.
that's a good thing for the environment, but for long-term game preservation...
it doesn't bode well.

i dont have much to say today. uhhh. i played undertale on a car ride today. it was fun. i beat mettaton.
after i closed it accidentally, the nintendo switch i was playing on didn't let
me relaunch it because i wasn't connected to the internet. drm sucks!

why have movies been so bad lately?
it's hard to beleive the ratio of huge cinematic flops to genuinely good movies nowadays.
most major companies seem to be running out of ideas, regurgitating the same series repeatedly.
a sad state of affairs.

i wonder if valve will ever make another fps half life game. alyx seems good, but being an early
vr title has made it inaccessible to those without vr (me).
vr will be incredible once it is cheaper and adoption rates increase, but until then a game being vr
exclusive is a one way ticket to being unplayable by most people.

Hawaii: Part II is one of the best albums I've listened to in years.
The songs within manage to paint images and create narratives in ways I
have not seen before in an album. 10/10, fo sho.

It amazes me how some politicians don't know things as basic as how online services work, or how to delete a Tweet.
America is largely run by fools, and we are left to simply laugh at the horror of the situation.

I played Psychonauts for the first time recently.
It was very good, although very held back by dated 2000s design.
Hopefully the sequel is a bit more polished.

a very good sequel to a very good piece of media with a cliffhanger ending, that will be/is better when the third part of the trilogy comes/came out.

I just finished Psychonauts 2's story. It is a very, very good game. More than worth the price. I have no complaints.
